For the Very Young Organist

During a recent trip to my local baby store, amidst the supposed necessities of car seats with cupholders and strollers that cost more than my first car, I found something really useful. Well, useful if you’re bent on getting your children to play the organ pedals before they can walk. Check it out….

Not only does the Fisher-Price Little Superstar™ Step ’n Play Piano have toys to keep baby’s hands busy—it also rewards baby’s feet! With every step on the keys, there’ll be fun music and dancing lights to encourage baby’s natural stepping motion. A mini Wurlitzer!

I can just picture my amazing grandchild (who has yet to be born) crediting me for her excellent pedal technique. Haha…too fun!

My only question—why did they call it a piano and not an organ?
